Boats and fall colors in Kennebunkport Maine
The leaves are just starting to turn. The weather has been all wonky lately.
On the road around 10 today. We decided to drive around Kennebunkport a bit before making our way to Bar Harbor Maine. We drove around the Atlantic edge of Kennebunkport and saw some beautiful homes, views, and rocky ocean spots.
Eventually we made our way north into the 95 / 295 / 395. (Maine has confusing freeways!) We stopped in a few beautiful towns, enjoyed the views and the shopping. No photos though.
After a long drive we finally arrived in Bar Harbor. And drove right past our hotel. Oops. So since we had missed it we went in search of dinner. We had a fantastic dinner at a place called Mama DiMatteo’s. We also sampled a local Blueberry Ale! It was surprisingly good.
Tomorrow we go to Acadia National Forest and there should be tons of photos. (I Hope!)
