Quincy Market, Boston, MA
Filled to the brim with cuisines from different parts of the world
So we woke early today and got on a trolley ride / tour around Boston. It drove us by many interesting places. The old north church, Faneuil hall, Paul Revere’s house and much more.
We decided to get off at the stop that allowed us to explore the New England Aquarium, Faneuil Hall, and Quincy Market. We shopped and dined in the area. The Aquarium was fun and interesting. We saw many animals from the atlantic ocean, animals we are not so used to in California. Most interesting to us was a penguin we had never seen before called a “Little Blue Penguin.” They are bluish in color and when full grown are smaller than some penguin species chicks. They were also very vocal, barking and squeaking to each other constantly.
After the aquarium and lunch, we got back on the trolley to continue our tour. We went by the shipyards, the bunker hill memorial, Fenway park, Boston Commons and the Boston Public garden. Boston has been a beautiful town and we wish we had more time to explore. We finally arrived back near our hotel and took a quick walk through the local mall. The exit to the mall took us to the Christian Science Church across from our hotel:

Tomorrow we are off to Salem Massachusetts to see the Witch Trial Museum and more. Then we overnight in Kennebunkport.
